Meet Our Team

Horse riding

There were six children in my family and we all had horses. We rode from the time we could walk. Horses were our pleasure as well as an essential part of the life on the farm.

My passion for horses, all things equestrian & horse riding started on the day I was born and has only become deeper as the years have gone by. The early days revolved around breeding, handling and breaking in Thoroughbreds, foal handling, preparing the young stock for the Karaka Bloodstock Sales and escorting highly bred mares to Australia’s Coolmore Stud (the home of the mighty Danehill) for breeding.

Our Interns

Dromgool Horsemanship is very proud of its Intern Program. It is a training ground for exceptionally talented and dedicated individuals who are passionate about the Dromgool Horsemanship philosophy and what is possible for them inside the teachings of DH. All our Interns have aspirations that range from Horsemanship Clinicians to Grand Prix Dressage riders. These inspirational team members provide huge value at our Clinics – in their capacity as Interns. They assist our trainers Ken and Jane at their Clinics and provide quality coaching for all participants. Their presence at Clinics means that our coach to participant ratio is very high and we are able to offer a very high level of individual attention to everyone.

What our Riders say

Bronny Cook

I think I might have been duped at the clinic, someone must have swapped my horse overnight. He looks the same, responds to the same name but I swear he’s a different horse. He self loads on float, travels like a dream, happily walks over tarpaulins, respects my space doesn’t react to cars on the road, and the list goes on. I’m so happy with my “new horse”
